During his training, Dhruva and his friends secretly hunt small-time criminals at night, and he notices that many crimes trace back to a few big players and, behind them, to one mastermind. As an IPS officer he targets that man: Siddharth Abhimanyu, a celebrated scientist with political connections who has built his career on fraud and murder. What follows is a battle of wits in which each man studies, anticipates and traps the other. Dhruva is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Thani Oruvan (2015), and Arvind Swamy returned to play the same suave villain, a role many viewers consider the heart of both films. Ram Charan trained hard for the part, and the music is by Hiphop Tamizha, who also scored the original.
