Abhi and Vasu have been inseparable since childhood, and their friendship is the centre of both their lives. When a lively girl named Maha enters the picture and both develop feelings for her, a misunderstanding drives the friends apart for years. Later, a chance to reunite with old friends on a group trip forces Abhi to face what went wrong, and the people he left behind. Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi ("there is only one life") is a gentle, music-filled drama about friendship, love and second chances, from Kishore Tirumala, who had earlier directed Ram in Nenu Sailaja. Devi Sri Prasad's soundtrack, including the friendship anthem "Trend Maarina", was popular with young audiences.
