Vaisakham (2017)

Vaisakham is a Telugu romantic family drama written and directed by B. Jaya, one of the few women directors working in mainstream Telugu cinema, and produced by her husband B. A. Raju. Set largely in a large apartment community, it follows a carefree young man and a determined young woman whose early quarrels turn into romance, while the many families around them supply comedy, gossip and emotion. It was Jaya's final film before her death in 2018, and is a gentle, old-fashioned entertainer.
