Bhagam Bhag (1956)

Bhagam Bhag ('running around') is a black-and-white Hindi comedy directed by Bhagwan Dada, the actor-filmmaker famous for his dancing and low-budget entertainers, who also appears in it. Kishore Kumar, in the period when he was emerging as Hindi cinema's top comic star, leads the cast with Shashikala. As the title suggests, the film is built on chases, disguises and misunderstandings, with songs and slapstick at every turn.
