Tulasi Ram lives happily with his wife Vasundhara and their small son, and has deliberately turned his back on the factional violence of his family's home town. When the boy is diagnosed with a serious illness that needs costly treatment, Tulasi's quiet life collides with the enemies of his old world, and he has to become the man he swore he would never be again. Tulasi was Boyapati Srinu's second film after Bhadra and an early version of the faction-and-family formula that later defined his career. It is anchored by Venkatesh's mix of gentle family man and furious avenger, and Devi Sri Prasad's songs were chart favourites.
