Baaghi (1990)

Saajan is a cadet from a rich, strict family who, on a night out in Bombay, meets Kajal, a village girl who has been tricked and sold into a brothel. He sees past her circumstances and falls in love, and his promise to marry her sets him against his disapproving father, the brothel's keepers and the gangsters who protect them. The story is credited to Salman Khan himself, and Baaghi, released in 1990, was one of his first big hits after Maine Pyar Kiya. It also marked the Hindi debut of Nagma. Anand-Milind's songs, including "Kaisa Lagta Hai" and "Har Kasam Se Badi Hai", were hugely popular.
