Ronny is sent by his father to a martial-arts school in Kerala to learn discipline from a respected guru. There he meets Siya, an aspiring actress, and they fall for each other, but the guru's son Raghav, a ruthless fighting champion, has decided that Siya will be his. Raghav uses money and influence to tear the couple apart. Years later Siya is kidnapped and held in Bangkok, and Ronny is the only one who can get her back, which means fighting through Raghav's building floor by floor. Baaghi, a showcase for Tiger Shroff's martial arts and acrobatics, takes ideas from the Telugu hit Varsham and the Indonesian action film The Raid. It was a big hit and started a franchise, and Telugu star Sudheer Babu made his Hindi debut as the villain.
