Badhaai Ho Badhaai (2002)

Badhaai Ho Badhaai ("congratulations") is a Hindi family comedy-drama directed by Satish Kaushik, who also directed Anil Kapoor in Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain. Anil Kapoor plays an unlikely romantic hero whose looks and nature make him the butt of jokes, and Shilpa Shetty and Kirti Reddy play the two women in his life. The story mixes comedy about appearances and self-confidence with family sentiment and songs, in the style of early-2000s Hindi family entertainers. It should not be confused with the 2018 hit Badhaai Ho.
