Bale Pandiya (2010)

Pandiya is a gentle, luckless young man who has decided he wants to die, but cannot even manage that. A gangster spots an opportunity: a man with no fear of death would make the perfect assassin, so Pandiya is hired to kill. Just as he accepts, he falls in love and suddenly has a reason to live, which makes his new job a serious problem. The film is a light dark comedy built around that reversal, with Vishnu Vishal, soon after his debut in Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, in the lead and Piaa Bajpai as the woman who changes his mind.
