Description

Jeevan is an aspiring director who needs a strong horror script to get his first film made. Hoping to find real-life inspiration, he travels to a hill station with his wife and his young nephew, and settles into an old house near a fairground. Strange incidents start almost at once, the boy is drawn to a mysterious balloon, and Jeevan discovers that the haunting is linked to a tragedy from the past and to people he once knew. Balloon is a Tamil horror thriller that combines jump scares with a revenge story and a few lighter moments. Real-life couple Jai and Anjali lead the cast, and Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the score.
