Bapu Da Vyah (2022)

Bapu Da Vyah ("father's wedding") is a 2022 Punjabi comedy led by Saroop Parinda with Sanju Solanki. The premise is a familiar source of fun in Punjabi comedy: an ageing father announces he wants to marry again, setting off panic, scheming and arguments among his children and neighbours. It is a small production made in the quick, dialogue-heavy style of Punjabi comic films that circulate widely online, and is best enjoyed as light family entertainment.
