It's My Life (2020)

Abhay has grown up with a father who chooses everything for him: his clothes, his studies, his career and now his bride. He loves his family but feels he has never lived his own life. Then he meets a bubbly, impulsive girl who does exactly as she pleases, and he wants her to be accepted at home. The plan he comes up with tests the whole family. It's My Life is the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Bommarillu (2006), and Genelia D'Souza plays the same role she made famous in the original, with Nana Patekar as the controlling father. Shot in the late 2000s, it was held up for over a decade and finally premiered on television in 2020, by which time Harman Baweja had left acting.
