Hum To Chale Pardes (1988)

Hum To Chale Pardes ("we're off to a foreign land") is a 1988 Hindi drama directed by Ravindra Peepat, starring Shashi Kapoor with Rajiv Kapoor and Mandakini, the pair from Ram Teri Ganga Maili, reunited on screen. Rajiv is Shashi Kapoor's nephew, son of Raj Kapoor. The story turns on love, family and the pull of leaving home, with songs and emotional drama in the manner of the late 1980s. It is a lesser-known film of interest mainly to followers of the Kapoor family on screen.
