Kalyan lost his sight as a child but runs a successful restaurant and has built a confident, independent life. One night he meets a young woman who seems to be in trouble, and the two grow close until a road accident leaves him in hospital and her gone without a trace. When an operation restores his vision, Kalyan sets out to find the woman he has never actually seen, and what he discovers leads him into a web of lies, blackmail and danger. Neevevaro is the Telugu remake of the Tamil thriller Adhe Kangal (2017), with Aadhi Pinisetty as the hero, Taapsee Pannu as the mysterious woman and Ritika Singh as the friend who has always loved him. It keeps the twists of the original with a glossier, star-driven style.
