Bhavani (2011)

Bhavani is a 2011 Tamil action film in which Sneha, usually seen in gentle family roles, plays against type as a fearless IPS officer. Comedian Vivek provides the humour, and Sampath Raj, one of Tamil cinema's regular villains, plays the opposition. Built around a heroine rather than a male star, it follows the template of the woman-cop action film, with fights, confrontations and a crusade against wrongdoers.
