Bhool (1984)

Bhool ("mistake") is a 1984 Hindi film starring Tariq, remembered for Yaadon Ki Baaraat and Hum Kisise Kum Naheen, with Tamanna and Amrish Puri. As the title suggests, the story turns on a single mistake and the consequences that follow for the young lovers at its centre. It is a modest production of the mid-1980s, a mix of romance, family drama and songs, and offers a chance to see Tariq in one of his later lead roles and Amrish Puri during the years he was becoming Hindi cinema's best-known screen villain.
