Sachidanandan was locked away as a teenager and spends most of his life in prison before he is finally released. He returns to his family, now settled in Bengaluru, and tries to fit into a home and a city that moved on without him, guided by his younger brother. But his quiet manner hides unusual abilities and a strange history, and he is soon drawn into a dangerous conflict involving the city's criminals and a police operation led by an officer played by Arbaaz Khan. Big Brother was written and directed by Siddique, the filmmaker behind classic Malayalam comedies and the Hindi Bodyguard, and was Arbaaz Khan's first Malayalam film. It released in January 2020 as a Mohanlal action entertainer, with music by Deepak Dev.
