Bindu

Bindu is a Bhojpuri social drama directed by Ishtiyak Shaikh Bunty, one of the busiest makers of family-oriented Bhojpuri films. Anjana Singh plays the title role, a woman whose life is shaped by the expectations of her family and in-laws, with Jay Yadav and Jyoti Mishra in key roles. Like most films of this strand of Bhojpuri cinema, it centres on domestic conflict, a heroine's dignity and the ties between relatives, told with songs and melodrama for a family audience.
