Raja runs a struggling biscuit factory that his father left behind, while a scheming partner eyes the business. At an old-age home he meets an elderly woman who tells him imaginative stories, and to his astonishment, events from her tales start mirroring what happens in his own life. The film cuts between the present and the stories, in which Santhanam plays heroes in various historical and fantasy settings. Biskoth is a 2020 Tamil fantasy comedy directed by R. Kannan and one of the first Tamil films to release in cinemas after the pandemic lockdown. The veteran actress Sowcar Janaki, who began her career in the 1940s, plays the storyteller in her 400th film.
