Boonie Bears: Guardian Code (2023)

Briar and Bramble, the bickering bear brothers of the Boonie Bears animated series, have always lived in the forest with their friend and rival, the logger Vick. In Guardian Code, a mystery about their own beginnings sends them on an adventure beyond the forest, with a high-tech world, new enemies and the hope of finding their mother, the theme that gives the Hindi version its name. Boonie Bears is one of China's most popular animated franchises, and its yearly feature films, released at Chinese New Year, are among the country's top-grossing animated titles. Guardian Code was the 2023 entry, with the series' trademark slapstick and family emotion.
