Ajay is the cheerful son of a self-made paint businessman who has built a huge, close-knit joint family around him. A rift with a jealous relative shakes the household, and after a tragedy Ajay takes on a mission: to travel across the country, find the scattered branches of his family going back seven generations, and bring them together. Along the way he meets new people and new love. Srikanth Addala, who had directed Mahesh Babu in the family hit Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, again focused on family warmth and festivity, with a large ensemble cast including three heroines. The film was one of the most anticipated releases of 2016 but disappointed at the box office. It circulates in Hindi as Real Tiger 2, though it is a family drama rather than an action film.
