Buddy (2024)

The hero is a pilot who leads a quiet, solitary life until a teddy bear starts talking to him. Inside it is the soul of a young woman whose body lies unconscious in a hospital where criminals harvest organs, and only he can help her before it is too late. The odd pair become partners, mixing comedy, sentiment and action as they take on the racket. Buddy is a Telugu adaptation of the Tamil film Teddy (2021), with a computer-animated bear as co-star, and gave Allu Sirish a family-friendly action role.
