Tarakasura (2016)

Tarakasura is a Kannada action drama directed by Chandrashekar Bandiyappa, with Vaibhav (also credited as Vybhav) in the lead and Manvitha Kamath as the heroine. The title invokes the demon Tarakasura of Hindu myth, and the story draws on folk tradition and rural belief, pitting its young hero against a formidable enemy. The film drew attention for featuring Danny Sapani, a British actor later seen in Black Panther. It combines romance, folk elements and action.
