Mahanubhavudu (2017)

Anand has obsessive-compulsive disorder: he washes his hands constantly, cannot bear dirt, and drives everyone around him to despair with his demands for order. He falls in love with Meghana, a colleague who matches his ideals, and she returns his feelings. But Meghana's father, a proud village elder, has his own expectations, and Anand must spend time in their village, among wrestling bouts, farm work and dusty lanes, if he wants to win the family over. Mahanubhavudu was one of the more successful Telugu comedies of 2017, built on Sharwanand's deadpan performance and the comedy Maruthi wrings from Anand's compulsions.
