Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002)

Three young couples face three different tests of love: a relationship strained by misunderstanding, a romance pulled apart by circumstance and a marriage that must survive a crisis. Their stories run side by side and are linked by music, because every song in the film is a fresh rendition of a classic R. D. Burman composition. Dil Vil Pyar Vyar was conceived as a tribute to "Pancham", and hearing his classics reworked for a new generation is its chief attraction. It was directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Anant Mahadevan, with R. Madhavan in one of his early Hindi roles after Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein.
