Clash (2009)

Trinh, known as Phoenix, is a skilled mercenary working for a ruthless crime lord in Saigon who holds her young daughter hostage. Her ticket to freedom is a final job: stealing a laptop holding valuable secrets. She recruits a team of hardened specialists, including Quan, nicknamed Tiger, a quiet fighter with his own hidden agenda. As betrayals pile up, the two find themselves drawn to each other while trying to survive. Clash (Bẫy Rồng) reunited Johnny Tri Nguyen and Veronica Ngo after The Rebel and was one of the most successful Vietnamese action films of its time, noted for its martial-arts choreography using the Vietnamese style Vovinam.
