Sampurna Teerth Yatra (1970)

Sampurna Teerth Yatra is a 1970 devotional film directed by Dhirubhai Desai, a prolific maker of mythological and devotional films. Ashish Kumar, who became the face of such films in the 1970s, leads the cast with Sushma and Jeevan, the latter a veteran of countless mythologicals. As the title ("the complete pilgrimage") suggests, the film is built around the sacred sites of Hindu pilgrimage, with bhajans and stories of faith.
