Garjanai (1981)

Garjanai ("roar") is a 1981 Tamil action drama directed by C. V. Rajendran, starring Rajinikanth opposite Madhavi. Rajinikanth plays a principled man who takes on a powerful criminal network, mixing his rising-star swagger with romance and fights, at the time he was establishing himself as Tamil cinema's leading action hero. The film was made in more than one language, with versions in Malayalam and Kannada. For fans of early Rajinikanth.
