Kishtayya is the fearsome protector of his village in the Godavari region, loyal to the landlord family who took him in and inseparable from his friend Anji. His only softness is his love for Varalakshmi, the girl he lost years ago. When the landlord's arrogant son turns against the people who served the family, Kishtayya finds his loyalties tested and his village headed for bloodshed. Naa Saami Ranga is the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Porinju Mariam Jose (2019), and marked the directorial debut of dance choreographer Vijay Binni. A Sankranti 2024 release, it gave Nagarjuna a rustic mass role, with Allari Naresh in a strong supporting part and music by Oscar winner M. M. Keeravani.
