Description

Kaalai ("bull") is a 2008 Tamil action film directed by Tharun Gopi, who had made Thimiru with Vishal. Silambarasan plays a spirited young man whose arrival in a southern town sets him against a dangerous and influential household, with Vedhika as his love interest and Sangeetha in a strong supporting part. The film follows the rural masala formula of fights, family secrets and dance numbers, and G. V. Prakash Kumar's songs were among its main draws. It is aimed squarely at fans of Simbu's early mass phase.
