Yaara Dildara (1991)

Yaara Dildara is a 1991 romantic film directed by Mehul Kumar, with Aasif Sheikh and Ruchika Pandey in the leads. It follows a young couple whose love must survive the obstacles that families and circumstances put in its way, in the familiar pattern of the musical romances of the early 1990s. The film did little at the box office, but its soundtrack, among the first by the composer duo Jatin-Lalit, has lasted far longer than the film itself: the song "Bin Tere Sanam Mar Mitenge Hum" became an evergreen and was later recreated for a new generation.
