Sathya joins the police dreaming of action, but he is posted to the control room that answers the 100 emergency number, where most calls are pranks, drunken complaints and petty quarrels. Bored and frustrated, he still takes the calls to heart, and one distress call from a young girl leads him into an investigation that his superiors would rather he dropped. What he finds points to an organised racket and to people inside the system protecting it, and he has to keep digging with little more than phone records and nerve. Atharvaa leads the film with Hansika Motwani as his love interest and Yogi Babu in a comic role, and the film's angle on the unglamorous world of the emergency control room was its chief novelty.
