Kismath (2018)

A young man who has just lost his job borrows money from a feared loan shark and has until the end of the day to pay it back. Then the money vanishes, the girl goes missing and the city fills with people chasing each other, in a chain of coincidences in which bad luck and good luck keep trading places. Kismath ('fate') is the Kannada remake of the Malayalam-Tamil film Neram (2013) by Alphonse Puthren, and it was the directorial debut of actor Vijay Raghavendra, who also plays the lead. The film follows the original's playful structure, with a single day of chaos told through criss-crossing characters.
