A small-time filmmaker and his friends, desperate for a break, accept an offer to shoot a movie in an old mansion near Ooty, not knowing that it is haunted and that their backer has his own sinister reasons for sending them there. The crew soon discovers that Geethanjali, the restless spirit from the earlier film, has not finished her business in this world. Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is a sequel to the Telugu horror comedy Geethanjali (2014) and was promoted as Anjali's fiftieth film. Like the original, it relies on Srinivasa Reddy and a crowd of comedians, among them Satya and Sunil, to mix laughs with jump scares, and was written and produced by Kona Venkat.
