Description

Cha Cha Cha takes its name from the Latin ballroom dance that swept the world in the late 1950s, and dance is at the centre of the film. Character actor Chandrashekhar produced, directed and starred in it, and cast Helen, usually seen in a single club song, as the heroine, one of very few films in which she played the lead. Om Prakash provides comedy. The film is best remembered for its music by Iqbal Qureshi, especially Ek chameli ke mandve tale, a duet by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle set to a poem by the Urdu revolutionary poet Makhdoom Mohiuddin.
