Chamundi (2000)

Chamundi is a 2000 Kannada action film starring Malashri, who in the 1990s moved from romantic roles to becoming the leading action heroine of Kannada cinema, often playing fearless avengers and police officers. The title invokes the goddess Chamundeshwari, slayer of demons, and the film follows that pattern, pitting its heroine against a ruthless villain played by Prakash Raj. Reliable details of its director and crew are not available, but it is a typical example of the woman-centred action films that made Malashri a box-office draw.
