Chanda (2007)

Chanda is a Kannada action drama directed by S. Narayan, made soon after Duniya Vijay became a star with Duniya (2007). Vijay again plays a tough, hot-headed young man from a humble background, and Shubha Poonja is the woman whose love gives him a reason to change. The film combines raw street fights with romance and family emotion, the formula that defined Vijay's early films. In Hindi it has been released as Taakath.
