Chandee (2013)

Chandee is a 2013 Telugu action drama built around its heroine, played by Priyamani, a National Award-winning actress, as a woman driven to fight back against the powerful men who prey on ordinary people. Her campaign of justice, named after the fierce form of the goddess Durga, places her against criminals and politicians, while veteran stars Krishnam Raju and Sarathkumar appear in important supporting roles linked to her past and her mission. It is one of the woman-centred action films that Priyamani headlined in Telugu, and is directed by V. Samudra, a maker of mass entertainers. Detailed production information is limited.
