Charanon Ki Saugandh (1988)

Charanon Ki Saugandh ("an oath on the feet") is a 1988 Hindi action drama directed by K. Bapaiah, a prolific maker of family melodramas, many of them adapted from South Indian hits. Mithun Chakraborty, then one of the busiest action stars in Hindi cinema, leads the cast opposite Amrita Singh, with Kader Khan in support. As the title promises, the story turns on a solemn vow made to a parent and the hero's fight against those who wronged his family, mixing emotion, comedy and fights in the style of the period. Detailed production information is limited.
