Charulatha (2012)

Charu and Latha are conjoined twins who have lived their whole lives as one, sharing a body, a room and every secret. When a young man enters their lives and falls for one of them, the bond between the sisters begins to crack, with consequences that turn the story from family drama into a ghost story. Priyamani plays both twins in a demanding double role, using make-up and effects that keep them joined on screen throughout. The film is an official remake of the Thai horror film Alone (2007) and was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Kannada. It is a moody, atmospheric horror drama rather than a gore film.
