As a boy, Vijay saw his family destroyed by a gang of criminals. Grown up, he sets out to punish the men the courts let go, killing them one at a time. His sister, an honest police officer, believes in doing things by the law, and as she investigates the killings she realises the man she is chasing is her own brother. Chattaniki Kallu Levu ("the law has no eyes") is S. A. Chandrasekhar's Telugu remake of his own Tamil hit Sattam Oru Iruttarai (1981), which was also remade in Hindi as Andha Kanoon with Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. It was one of the early action successes that helped make Chiranjeevi a star.
