Rahul sets out to scatter his grandfather's ashes and instead ends up on a train to Tamil Nadu with the daughter of a village strongman, pursued by her father's men and unable to speak a word anyone around him understands. It is built on the gap between what Rahul says and what the people around him hear, and it was the first Hindi film to take a billion rupees in India.
