Description

Chennakesava Reddy is a respected and feared leader in Rayalaseema, a man who protects his people with force. His son Bharath, a young police officer in the city, knows little of his father's past. When old enemies resurface, the story moves between the two men's lives and reveals the sacrifice and violence that shaped the family. Balakrishna plays both father and son, with Tabu as the elder Reddy's wife and Shriya Saran as the son's love interest. Directed by V. V. Vinayak right after his debut hit Aadi, the film is a full-blooded faction drama in the Rayalaseema style that Balakrishna made his own, with songs by Mani Sharma.
