Chingari (2012)

Chingari ("spark") is a Kannada action thriller directed by A. Harsha, the choreographer turned director, with Darshan in the lead. He plays a reserved man with a hidden, violent past whose life is turned upside down when a young woman close to him is kidnapped by a ruthless gang, and he sets out on a relentless hunt to save her, much in the spirit of the Hollywood film Taken. Deepika Kamaiah and Bhavana play the two female leads. The film is built for Darshan's fans, with stylised action sequences and V. Harikrishna's songs.
