Chirru (2010)

Chirru is a 2010 Kannada romantic action film directed by Mahesh Babu (the Kannada filmmaker, not the Telugu star). Chiranjeevi Sarja, nephew of action hero Arjun Sarja, plays the title role of a carefree young man whose love story pulls him into conflict with powerful enemies. It was Kriti Kharbanda's first Kannada film, launching a run of Kannada hits for her before she moved to Hindi cinema with films such as Housefull 4. For fans of the late Chiranjeevi Sarja, it is one of the early films that made him a popular young star.
