An explosion in London leaves the police with suspects and very few answers. Krish, a top lawyer, interrogates Pipi, one of the men caught up in it, and through his story the film unfolds the tale of a gang of friends, a stunning woman, a high-stakes job and a betrayal, while the question of who was really behind it all keeps shifting. Chocolate was Vivek Agnihotri's first film as director, a slick, London-set thriller whose framework of a survivor telling his version of events openly draws on The Usual Suspects. Its tagline was Deep Dark Dangerous, and the large cast includes Irrfan Khan as the storyteller and Emraan Hashmi early in his career.
