Anna Bond is a 2012 Kannada action entertainer directed by Duniya Soori, reuniting him with Puneeth Rajkumar after their hit Jackie (2010). Puneeth plays a fiercely loyal young man known for his fists, whose past and present collide when the people close to him are threatened by a powerful criminal. Priyamani and Nidhi Subbaiah play the women in his life, and Hindi star Jackie Shroff appears in a key role. Soori's stylised, quirky approach to mass cinema and V. Harikrishna's songs made the film a big opener, and it remains popular with Puneeth's fans for his dancing and action.
