Goli Soda 2 (2018)

Maran is a gangster's right-hand man who wants out, Oli is a cab driver saving for a better life, and Pandi is a promising basketball player working odd jobs. Each is in love and each has a dream, but all three run into the same wall of crooked politicians, gangsters and casteism in the city. When their small plans are crushed, they band together with Nadesan, a former bank official turned taxi driver who watches over them, to take back their dignity. Goli Soda 2 is a sequel in spirit to Vijay Milton's 2014 hit Goli Soda, again about ordinary young people pushed into a fight. Milton both directed and shot the film, and director Gautham Vasudev Menon plays a police officer in a rare acting role.
