Viyyalavari Kayyalu (2007)

Viyyalavari Kayyalu ("quarrels between in-laws") is a 2007 Telugu family entertainer directed by E. Satti Babu. Uday Kiran, the romantic lead of early-2000s Telugu hits, plays a young man whose love for the heroine, played by Neha Jhulka, ties together two families with a long history of feuding. Srihari plays a strong-willed elder in the family drama, and the film mixes romance, comedy and emotional confrontations as the couple tries to bring their families round. It belongs to the wave of Telugu family dramas built on in-law rivalry.
