S. P. Parasuram (1994)

Parasuram is a superintendent of police feared by criminals and politicians alike for his refusal to compromise. His crusade becomes personal when his investigations lead close to home, forcing him to choose between family and duty, and leaving him with responsibilities he never expected. Sridevi plays a spirited young woman who enters his life and brings a lighter touch to the hard-edged drama. S. P. Parasuram is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Walter Vetrivel, and is remembered as one of the few films pairing Chiranjeevi with Sridevi, after their fantasy classic Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. The film gives Chiranjeevi a full-blooded angry-cop role at the height of his stardom.
